Peter Kam has devoted his life to serving the California community, and brings a sense of professional, care, and civic duty to all his work.

Before becoming a dentist, Dr. Kam did advanced work at the Physics Department of UCLA, including his Bachelor's, Master's, teaching, and research. Following on from physics, Dr. Kam moved into dentistry and received his DDS from the UOP School of Dentistry in 1977.

Dr. Kam has been a member of the American Dental Association and California Dental Society in good standing continually since 1977.

Dr. Kam believes in lifelong learning. In addition to furthering his craft in dentistry, Dr. Kam received a JD from the Southwestern School of Law in 1999, and was admitted to the California State Bar in 2000.

Dr. Kam believes in serving the community, and has served as a Director in the Moneterey Park Chamber of Commerce, as the President of the Downey Toast Master Club, and as a Director of the Pacific Alliance Bank. Dr. Kam looks to share knowledge and develop the Asian-American community in California as a member of the Chinese American Citizens Alliance and the Hong Kong Alumni Association.

Dr. Kam has two beautiful children, a daughter who recently became a medical doctor herself, and a son who is a good student and Boy Scout.
